With two independent systems within a 1U space, the 1U Twin™ can support up to 16 processor cores per system based on the Intel® Xeon® Processor 5600 Series platform or a staggering 24 cores per system built with AMD Opteron 6000 Series processors.

Supports a maximum of 120 dual processor blade servers per 42U rack.

The Greenest, most energy-efficient blade server in the industry, with N+1 redundant, high efficiency (94%) 2500W power supplies.
Networking options include up to two 4x QDR(40 Gbps) InfiniBand switches, up to two 1/10GbE or 10GbE switches, and/or a 1GbE pass-through module. They give the TwinBlade the bandwidth to support the most demanding applications.
Each may be equipped with on-board IPMI 2.0 with KVM over IP and remote Virtual Media over LAN which enables ease of management and control.
